Description

The shop, itself, looks like a rundown pagoda on the outside, while the inside is more reminiscent of a Japanese disco if Japan had discos during the Edo era. No, really. Craaaazy architecture and elaborately painted with random subject matter shoji screens are the rule for Medicine Seller's series.

Save for the sale counter and the maze of shelves, the place is pretty devoid of Western furnishings. Low tables and mats are the norm here. The mundane items for sale are up front side by side with Medicine Seller's strange but nonetheless effective homeopathic remedies and there's a curtain to the back, leading to a store room, where the moddable supernatural merchandise resides alongside everything else you might expect to find in a store room. Living quarters are up the stairway, located behind the counter. A porch runs its way around the whole building there are a set of doors to the side, leading out into an overgrown, wild looking garden with weird statuary.
